Bus Rider Agreement: Safety is our primary concern for every child. Therefore, every precaution will be taken to make sure each child arrives at their destination safely. This can only be accomplished if we have the cooperation of both students and parents.
Expectations: Students riding the bus will have same expectations of behavior as at school.
- Students are under the authority of the school bus driver and/or bus aide.
- Students shall remain seated while the bus is in motion.
- Students will enter the school bus, go directly to their seats and remain there until leaving the bus.
- All students riding the bus must have a signed bus rider agreement prior to riding and carry and show their bus pass.
Consequences: Riding the bus is a privilege. There is a high expectation for behavior on the bus. Students may receive the following consequences for misbehavior on the bus.
- Verbal warnings may be given.
- Level one write-up. This may include a conference with an administrator.
- A level two or three write-up will require a conference with administration, the student and parent(s). The result may include suspension from riding the bus or a loss of bus privileges for the school year.
Cost and Sign up: Read the Bus Rider Agreement above. Then print off and complete the Credit Card Authorization Form and Bus Rider Information form. Turn them in at the bus sign up day or to the front office after that day. Cost is $40/ month for the first rider in the family and $5 for each additional sibling not to exceed $55. Seats are limited and are assigned on a first come basis.
