Academic Intervention Paraprofessional - Part Time

Freedom Preparatory Academy’s elementary campuses are looking for cheerful, hardworking, and dependable individuals to join our team as part-time paraprofessionals. These individuals will support student learning through one on one and small group instruction as well as assist classroom teachers. These individuals should be flexible, organized, collaborative, and have experience working with children. 

Qualifications include an associate’s degree or being willing and able to pass the paraprofessional test as well as take and pass a state background check (both completed at personal expense).

Bus Drivers

Freedom Preparatory Academy is urgently seeking individuals to drive morning and afternoon bus routes starting immediately. Must have or be willing to attain a Commercial Driver’s License with bus endorsement. Work related training and assistance with licensing is available. Minimum age of 21 years.

Custodial - Part-Time

This position may work up to 20 hours per week and is responsible for building care cleaning of a designated portion of campuses.  This is a general posting from which applicants will be selected and interviewed to fill the following types of building care work. Applicant must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and lift up to 40 lbs. Looking for individuals who can work at a fast pace and be detail oriented. Full Time Elementary Teachers – Utah County, Fall 2024

Special Education Paraeducator

Freedom Preparatory Academy is seeking individuals to fill part-time Paraeducator positions working in the Special Education Department starting immediately at all three campuses.

Description: You will be working with students on academic and social skills goals as directed by the Special Education teacher, collaborating with team members, and providing behavior and other supports to students with disabilities. In addition, you will be helping collect data, track student progress, and complete essential clerical duties.

Job Qualifications: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of post-secondary education, relevant experience, and have completed the Para Praxis exam.

Elementary STEM & GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) Teacher

Freedom Preparatory Academy, an established, dynamic charter school is seeking a full-time STEM & GATE specialty teacher to support both the Provo and Vineyard Elementary campuses starting immediately. We seek teachers who are collaborative, creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate. Join our teaching team and enjoy a supportive, cooperative environment. Teacher would plan, implement, and evaluate STEM materials and curriculum for subjects such as coding, robotics, circuits, design, science, math, and other basic STEM skills. Provide a push-in and pull-out model of support for gifted students. This would include designing curriculum to connect and extend learning beyond the grade level essential standards. Preference will be given to individuals with educational or work experience related to science and gifted and talented education.

Job Qualifications: Applicants must have (1) a bachelor’s degree (STEM and GATE qualifications preferred but not required) or (2) a Utah teaching license or (3) be currently enrolled in an education program within an accredited institution.
