Freedom Preparatory Academy, an accredited K–12 public charter school, is hiring two full-time Elementary Special Education Teachers at our Vineyard campus starting Fall 2026.

 Key Responsibilities:

✔ Case Management: Write compliant IEPs and eligibility documentation, coordinate services, lead IEP meetings, communicate with families and teachers, monitor IEP implementation, and ensure all timelines and compliance requirements are met.

✔ Provide specialized instruction and accommodations per each student’s IEP

✔ Administer academic assessments

Salary: $17/hour.

Hours:  a MAX of 29 hours per week over 18 weeks up to 522 hours per second half of the school year 

Timeline:

  • Hiring begins January 2026

  • Initial virtual/regional training: January 2026

  • Mentors may assist with math session planning until school begins and student meetings can commence

Position Overview:

Math Mentors will work with small groups of students in grades 6-8 within targeted areas of Utah to enhance academic confidence and improve math skills. Utilizing personalized learning math software, mentors from various educational backgrounds will guide students toward greater academic success, offering personalized attention and support. Mentors will collaborate with counselors, administrators, and teachers to identify students who are two or more grade levels behind in math and would benefit from additional mentor support. Mentors will report to their on-site school supervisor and the STEM Action Center’s Math Mentor Program Coordinator.

Math Mentor Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group academic mentoring sessions approx. 20 minutes each during the school day, utilizing personalized learning math software and other math materials. The goal is to work with students for 60-90 minutes per week in mentoring sessions).

  • Assist students in setting and achieving weekly goals to foster ownership of their academic and behavioral progress.

  • Meet with the site supervisor and math specialists regularly (once per week) to assess student progress.

  • Maintain daily records of math mentoring sessions, activities, and performance notes for all students using the tracking tool provided by the STEM Action Center.

  • Attend a regional training/orientation (potentially virtual) in August/September with the Math Mentor Program Coordinator and Lead Math Mentor, and participate in ongoing virtual or in-person training with the Math Mentor Program team.

Mentor Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or youth. Preference will be given to candidates interested in pursuing a career in education, social work, or a related field.

  • Must be a high school graduate and a United States citizen.

  • Must provide required hiring documents, which may include a U.S. birth certificate or passport, driver’s license, social security card, and high school graduation (or equivalent education) verification.

  • Must successfully complete an FBI background check and National Sex Offender Database check prior to hire, in accordance with NSCHC requirements.

  • Possess a working knowledge of basic mathematics (advanced math education is not required).

  • Proficient with basic computer software.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, volunteers, and program managers.

  • Preference will be given to candidates proficient in an additional language (e.g., Spanish, Dine/Navajo).

High School Girls Soccer Head Coach

Freedom Preparatory Academy, an accredited K-12 Public Charter School, is seeking enthusiastic and professional part-time Athletic Coaches to work at our 6-12 Provo campus. These positions provide a unique opportunity to work with young student-athletes in a positive, character-building environment that reflects the mission and values of Freedom Prep.

Athletic Coaches are leaders and role models who inspire and guide students through sports and physical education activities. Candidates must maintain a professional and positive demeanor, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and be committed to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth in our students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coaching experience and/or experience working with middle school or high school students is highly desirable.

  • CPR/First Aid Certified

Custodial - Part-Time

This position may work up to 20 hours per week and is responsible for building care cleaning of a designated portion of campuses.  This is a general posting from which applicants will be selected and interviewed to fill the following types of building care work. Applicant must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and lift up to 40 lbs. Looking for individuals who can work at a fast pace and be detail oriented. Bus Drivers

Freedom Preparatory Academy is urgently seeking individuals to drive morning and afternoon bus routes starting immediately. Must have or be willing to attain a Commercial Driver’s License with bus endorsement. Work related training and assistance with licensing is available. Minimum age of 21 years.

Freedom Preparatory Academy’s Secondary campus is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to support student literacy growth through targeted reading intervention starting Fall 2026. This role provides one-on-one and small group instruction, implements research-based reading strategies, monitors student progress, and collaborates with classroom teachers to strengthen foundational literacy skills.

Candidates should be organized, flexible, collaborative, and passionate about helping children become confident readers. Experience supporting literacy instruction is preferred.

Job Qualifications: Applicants must have (1) a bachelor’s degree and (2) a Utah teaching license or be enrolled in a program working toward licensure.
