Freedom Preparatory Academy, a well-established and accredited K-12 public charter school, is seeking dedicated and passionate full-time Special Education teachers for our Provo elementary campus for Fall 2025. We are hiring for:
🔹 Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher – Support students with mild to moderate disabilities through specialized instruction and targeted interventions.
🔹 Intensive Needs Special Education Teacher – Work with students requiring higher levels of support, focusing on life skills, functional academics, and positive behavior interventions in a structured, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide specialized instruction, interventions, and accommodations per students’ IEPs in a small group setting. ✔ Conduct relevant academic assessments
✔ Write compliant IEPs and eligibility documentation. ✔ Maintain student records and complete quarterly progress reports. ✔ Train and supervise paraeducators to ensure consistency in services. ✔ Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success.
Qualifications:
🔹 Bachelor’s degree
🔹 Valid Utah teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
🔹 Experience with case management, IEP development and implementation preferred
🔹 Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
