Five Schools, K-12

The Freedom to Succeed

As one of the best charter schools in Utah, we partner with parents to help their children experience success in school and life. Whether your child is above, on or below grade level, we can help them reach their unique potential.

With smaller class sizes and technology-enabled classrooms, our teachers can personalize the learning experience and challenge students to achieve their personal best.

Creating successful outcomes since 2003.

Freedom Preparatory Academy opened its doors in September 2003 to help children succeed in school and life. Now, with well over a decade of distinguished progress and achievement, thousands of students have flourished in their pursuit of excellence in the classroom and effectiveness in meeting life’s challenges and opportunities.

Four schools on purpose.

In response to growing demand, Freedom Prep now operates two beautiful campuses. Our Central Provo campus offers a K-5 elementary school and a 60,000-square-foot secondary school serving grades 6-12. Our Vineyard location offers another K-5 elementary school in one of the fastest-growing areas in Utah County. All of our school administrators, faculty, and staff members work together to create an engaged learning culture and foster a growth mindset.

Personalized Education.

Your student’s definition of success is important to us. Whether they are intent on attending an Ivy League university, a state college or trade school, we will help them create a personalized path to success. Small class sizes and technology-enabled tools allow students to progress at their own pace. And starting in ninth grade, our students can select an area of emphasis from one of five learning academies: Advanced Studies, Computer Science, Digital Media, Engineering and Fine Arts.

Define Success Differently.

We help students define and achieve meaningful goals. Whether students are college or career bound, we facilitate real-world experiences for them. Our students graduate with a diploma, a resume, and a five-year plan.

Collaborate.

Our stakeholders work together in meaningful ways to create learning opportunities for student growth. We encourage parental involvement at every grade level.

Embrace Diversity.

The students we serve come from a variety of backgrounds and walks of life. We celebrate the opportunity to learn from one another’s points of view and life experiences. The diversity of our learning community reflects the world our students will ultimately graduate into as adults.
